A documentary from Core Issue Productions about military family caregivers and their catastrophically wounded veterans.
Filmed over five years, The Weight of Honor follows the lives of the caregivers of veterans who have been catastrophically wounded in America’s longest war. Their lives are transformed overnight to 24/7 caregivers tasked with caring for their war-wounded. The film reveals the family dynamic, their relationships before the wounds of war, and now, the uncertainties that lie ahead.

Top Instagram inspirations for veterans caregivers this week: We've learned a lot while making this documentary. One thing we've learned is you can never underestimate the amount of assistance a caregiver might need. Get sneaky, ask around, then do what you can. We dug around on Instagram and found a few images and quotes. We trust this will inspire veterans caregivers and their friends who want to help.
