Sioux Falls VA Caregiver Support Program and Augustana University Film Screening and Panel Discussion
The Augustana University Civitas Honors Program is hosting a screening of the Weight of Honor!
In-person attendance is limited and priority will be given to Caregivers of Veterans.
Virtual attendance is unlimited. Attendance is open to anyone 18 and older who pre-registers.
A panel discussion will take place after the film with Caregivers of Veterans and the director of the film, Stephanie Howard.

NASW Film Screening
The National Association of Social Workers will be screening The Weight of Honor on Thursday, June 23 at 7 p.m. EST as an Official Selection for the 2022 NASW Film Festival! Director Stephanie Howard will also be making an appearance. The screening will be open for all registrants of the conference in Washington, DC. NASW conference participants have the opportunity to connect with experts in the field from across the nation and world, be inspired by highly regarded speakers, and gain new skills at innovative workshops.
Coleman Museum Screening
The Coleman Museum at Heritage Hall in Coleman, Texas celebrates Veterans on November 11, beginning with a screening of The Weight of Honor at 9 a.m. Kathreyn Portis, who appears in our film, will be joining a Q&A session after the documentary. The screening is free and open to the public!
Department of Veterans Affairs Virtual Screening
The Department of Veterans Affairs is offering an exclusive, virtual screening of The Weight of Honor in support of National Family Caregivers Month and Veterans Day!

University of Chicago Screening
The University of Chicago is hosting a virtual screening of The Weight of Honor as part of their Honoring the Hurt and their Heroes event on August 24th - 26th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM CST! Register using the link below to watch the film on August 25th.
The film will be shown on August 25th at 11:00 AM CST, followed by a Q&A with director Stephanie Howard.

Lunafest 2019
Come see Stephanie Howard, the director and producer of The Weight of Honor, speak about the film at Lunafest 2019! This unique film festival highlights women as leaders in society, illustrated through eight short films by women filmmakers.

Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Caregivers on the Homefront
You are invited to join The Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Caregivers on the Homefront, in the Hidden Heroes City of Independence, Missouri for an intimate look at the journey of military and veteran caregivers. Included in the free event is a resource fair, appetizers, and beverages. Then participate after the screening in a question and answer panel with Gina Hill (one of the caregivers in the film) and other local veteran caregivers.
Operation Gratitude will also be in the house for the evening with a special gift for any veteran caregiver that comes out!
