As many of your know, THE WEIGHT OF HONOR team conducted a fundraising campaign last summer. With the help of our friends, fans and family, we raised over $18,000 from over 100 donors. We were so completely grateful to everyone for their support.
The Weight Of Honor, 2017 Documentary, Progresses with Rough Cut and More...
Progress on The Weight Of Honor is moving at a steady pace thanks to our editor, Alejandro Valdes-Rochin. We’ve already completed what’s called the “rough cut” of the film, with a “through line” and wonderful elements to illustrate the stories of our veteran caregivers.

PTSD Awareness Month - June 2016 - I wish it was more than ONE month.
National PTSD Awareness Month is upon us. We'll be publishing our favorite links on the subject as the month progresses. We are also adding a special "DONOR GIFT / PERK" to our IndieGoGo fundraising campaign to bring awareness and information to the issue of PTSD. But before we announce that, I'd like to share some of what I've learned about PTSD from making "The Weight Of Honor".
Documentarian Launches Film Fundraising Initiative as Part of National Military Appreciation Month
The never-before-told stories of catastrophically injured veterans and their Family Caregivers are the focus of the documentary film The Weight of Honor. In conjunction with Military Appreciation Month, Southern California-based Core Issue Productions announces the launch of their campaign to raise awareness and funding for the film.
